DESCRIPTION:CCA Maryland has partnered with Kelly Generator & Equipment\, Inc. to host a private\, hands-on reef ball building event\, allowing participants to directly contribute to restoring critical marine habitat in the Chesapeake Bay. \nIf your company\, school\, or organization would like to schedule a private two-day reef ball building experience like the one featured in this video\, please contact information@ccamd.org. \nDay 1 – Build DayParticipants work in teams of 3–4 to assemble oyster reef ball molds\, inflate internal buoys\, and mix and pour concrete to form the reef ball structure. This collaborative process combines teamwork\, education\, and conservation action. \nDay 2 – Hatch DayTeams return to remove the molds\, revealing the finished reef ball they helped create. These reef balls will ultimately be deployed in the Chesapeake Bay\, where they provide essential habitat for oysters\, fish\, and other marine life. \nThis unique experience offers organizations a meaningful way to engage employees or members in hands-on conservation while leaving a lasting impact on the health of our waterways.

We’ll have Free Kids Games & Prizes as well as Take Home Polaroid Pictures! \n  \n\n1. Fish can be caught anywhere in the Chesapeake bay\, however they must be caught on hook and line ONLY! \n2. Fish must be measured or weighed on certified scales at the weigh-in location (At Anglers) to determine the weight of each catch! \n3. Please keep all fish iced down as much as possible as we intend to donate the meat from the fillets! Please do not bring your fish soaked in a bucket of water! \n4. Lines in will happen rain or shine and will begin at 8:00am on Saturday\, May 2nd! Make sure all fish are weighed in by Sunday\, May 3rd before 2:00pm!

DESCRIPTION:CCA Maryland has partnered with St. James Academy to host a private\, hands-on reef ball building event\, allowing participants to directly contribute to restoring critical marine habitat in the Chesapeake Bay. \nIf your company\, school\, or organization would like to schedule a private two-day reef ball-building experience like the one featured in this video\, please contact information@ccamd.org. \nDay 1 – Build DayParticipants work in teams of 3–4 to assemble oyster reef ball molds\, inflate internal buoys\, and mix and pour concrete to form the reef ball structure. This collaborative process combines teamwork\, education\, and conservation action. \nDay 2 – Hatch DayTeams return to remove the molds\, revealing the finished reef ball they helped create. These reef balls will ultimately be deployed in the Chesapeake Bay\, where they provide essential habitat for oysters\, fish\, and other marine life. \nThis unique experience offers organizations a meaningful way to engage employees or members in hands-on conservation while leaving a lasting impact on the health of our waterways.
