Fishing Rods at the Westminster Library

Westminster, MD – On Saturday, October 13, the Coastal Conservation Association of Maryland, Central Region Chapter, made a donation of fishing rods and equipment to Carroll County Public Library’s Westminster Branch. The donation helped supplement the existing collection of six fishing rods and equipment currently available for loan from the branch. The presentation took place during the annual Oyster Stroll on the Westminster Branch’s Booth Memorial Stage.

The fishing collection was unveiled this past June and made possible through the support of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources. This special collection is housed at the Westminster Branch, but library cardholders may request and return the equipment at any Carroll County Public Library (CCPL) branch.
