Learning to Fly Fish the Bay
Join your Kent Narrows Chapter colleagues for a night of fun at our Wednesday, Aug. 15, meeting. It kicks off at 7 p.m. at the Fisherman’s Inn in Grasonville and will feature Tony Friedrich discussing fly fishing tactics on the Chesapeake. Additionally, chapter officers will be elected.
There are many anglers who want to add fly fishing to their bag or tricks and others who have tried without proper advice and given up. This meeting will center on the basics and how to apply knowledge of conventional gear and tactics to fly fishing. Throwing flies can be an extremely effective and exciting method for catching striped bass, blue fish and other species.
You may order dinner at 6 p.m. The meeting is open to the public, so bring a friend to introduce to CCA.
