CCA Maryland last week expressed its strong opposition to dredging Man O’ War Shoals in a letter sent to the Maryland Department of the Environment and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The letter urged the agencies to reject DNR’s application for a permit to dredge that area. The letter indicted that dredging “is an unacceptable use of public resources that only benefits a limited user group at the expense of all citizens.”
