CCA’s leaders, volunteers, and partners work within state, regional and federal fisheries management systems to give recreational anglers a voice in protecting the future of our fisheries and anglers’ access to them.
Supporting science based policies that will provide abundant and healthy populations of game fish and forage fish is at the core of CCA Maryland’s work.
Invasive fish like blue catfish, northern snakehead, and flathead catfish are also a big part of CCA’s work, aiming to provide the public a connection to the impacts and angling opportunities that these species provide.
