CCA Lefty Kreh Tie Fest

The Coastal Conservation Association’s (CCA) 16th Annual Lefty Kreh Tie Fest was held on February 20 at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in Stevensville, MD. This is the third year the event has been combined with the Light Tackle and Kayak Fest. CCA really puts on a great event year after year, bringing some of the country’s best fly tyers together for one fun afternoon. If you’ve never been, make sure to mark your calendar for next year. The event is free for CCA members and only $10 for non-members. There are free seminars and talks all afternoon, casting demos, and great camaraderie. Meet some fly tyers, get some tips on where to fish, and get hooked on fly fishing. The video below shows part of Lefty Kreh’s fly-casting lesson.
