On February 18, 2026 in Chevy Chase, Coastal Conservation Association Maryland (CCA Maryland) officially began rebooting its Greater Washington Chapter, bringing together anglers, conservation advocates, and community leaders who share a passion for protecting the future of our fisheries.

For nearly two decades, the Greater Washington Chapter has played an important role in CCA Maryland’s success. The chapter has helped support youth fishing events, host social gatherings that bring the community together, and engage business and civic leaders in efforts to protect our shared marine resources.

Now, CCA Maryland is working to re-energize the chapter and build on that strong foundation.

A New Chapter for Conservation

Rebooting the Greater Washington Chapter represents an opportunity for anglers and conservation supporters across the region to reconnect and get involved in meaningful ways. Whether helping organize events, supporting outreach efforts, or stepping into leadership roles, volunteers will play a critical role in strengthening CCA Maryland’s presence in the Greater Washington area.

Get Involved

Join us! CCA Maryland is inviting anglers, advocates, and community members who care about the future of our fisheries to join the effort.

Next Reboot Happy Hour & Leadership Meeting: March 19, 2026

These get togethers are a great chance to meet the team, connect with fellow conservation supporters, and learn how to get involved in shaping the future of the chapter.
