CCA Requests NEW Broad Stakeholder Based Consensus Building Effort for Oyster Management

As a requirement of the Sustainable Oyster Population and Fishery Act of 2016, Maryland DNR requested input from members of the Sport Fisheries Advisory Commission(SFAC) on management tools to include in the new fisheries management plan.

CCA’s Executive Director sent the following letter to DNR requesting a new consensus building effort to build the future of management for the regions most important bivalve.
