Volunteer Call to Action for Reef Ball Building

Jul 8, 2021

Are you ready to roll your sleeves up and build reef balls?  Join us on any of four dates in the summer of 2021 in Easton or Cambridge.

Email Amy to RSVP Today!

Reef balls built on the four dates listed on the images below are part of a project to enhance habitat at the Bill Burton Fishing Pier in Cambridge Maryland.  These efforts are supported by the National Fish Habitat Partnership with our collective focus to enhance recreational fishing and restore habitat.
This project will bring together many partners from the region and is focused on serving both English and Spanish speaking anglers who live in the region and may use the Bill Burton Pier for fishing and recreation.
All reef balls built will be deployed at the Bill Burton Pier MARI Reef Site in 2022.  Informational signage in English and Spanish, as well as a web camera will be installed on the pier as part of this project to improve outreach to the angling community.
For more information regarding this project, please contact David Sikorski at (443)621-9186 or davidsikorski@ccamd.org.
